USA-SUDAN: President Trump Signed Today Executive Order to Remove Sudan from State Sponsor Terrorism

Pres. Trump speaks in the Oval Office after announcing that Sudan will begin to normalize relations with Israel, joining UAE and Bahrain as the latest Arab nation to do so.

Eritrea welcomes the decision made by Sudan and USA, a couple of days before, delegation expressed in their official visit.

The AP reports that ‘the deal, which would deepen Sudan’s engagement with the West, follows Trump’s conditional agreement this week to remove the North African nation from the list of state sponsors of terrorism if it pays compensation to American victims of terror attacks.’

Palestinians are concerned about other nations’ decision to normalize relations with Israel leading to an acceptance of illegal actions Israel has taken over their population and land.

Israel had been developing plans to officially annex the disputed territory, which is recognized internationally as Palestinian. The land has been under Israeli occupation for decades, a form of de facto annexation.
